Did you get a copy of the latest FOUND Regional Mag with loads of foodie articles.
One of the questions Meg Miller asked me from FOUND Magazine was – What’s your earliest baking memory?
I’m one of six kids and my mum would always bake butter cakes using the recipe from the brown, 1970s Women’s Weekly hardcover cookbook – it was a staple in our home. She’d put chocolate icing on the cake, cover it in coconut and all of a sudden it was a lamington cake. They were always fresh and never lasted long because we’d eat them so quickly. Now, whenever we go to an op shop, we’re always looking out for copies of that book.

Tell me – do you know this cookbook and what your most used recipes from it.
I asked my mum, sisters and brother, they said:
Sisters – Sponge cake, piklets (a staple when we grew up too), Anzac biscuits, my brother said chocolate Chip Cookies and my mum said ANZAC’s too.
